Craig is the Team Leader of the ILO's Microinsurance Innovation Facility.
He has more than two decades of microfinance experience in both developed and developing countries. In his current position as the chief of the ILO's Social Finance Programme, he focuses on the potential of financial services and policies to achieve social objectives. He serves as the Chair of the Microinsurance Network and on the governing board of the Access to Insurance Initiative. He has authored and edited over 40 articles, papers, monographs and training manuals on various microfinance topics including microinsurance, customer loyalty, organizational development, governance, lending methodologies, regulation and supervision, and financial services for the poorest of the poor.
Craig holds an MA from Clark University and a BA from Williams College in Massachusetts, USA.

Jeanna Holtz

Jeanna oversees the operations of the Facility and serves as lead on health microinsurance topics.
She has an extensive background in health insurance and consulting. Her previous experiences includes positions with Allianz, where she led a team of internal consultants to support Allianz health insurance businesses and initiatives worldwide, and Aetna, a large US health insurer, as a manager of health plan operations and medical provider networks in the northwest United States.
Jeanna holds a MBA from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in human nutrition from Washington State University.

Nicole supports the knowledge management activities of the Facility, specifically its dissemination and website improvement and maintenance work.
She has worked as a research and knowledge assistant for different national and regional development programs in Asia.
Nicole has a BA in Behavioral Sciences from University of the Philippines - Manila and is currently taking a masteral degree in Political Science in De La Salle University Manila.

Aparna supports the research, communication and knowledge management functions of the Facility.
She was the Director of Special Projects at the Financial Access Initiative at New York University, where she led microinsurance research projects related to financial education, behavioural economics and impact assessments.
She has over six years of experience in technology and management consulting in the public and private sectors.
Aparna holds a Master in Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Texas.

Camyla supports the research activities of the Facility.
She has previously worked at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brazil, supporting international cooperation activities among higher education institutions and at the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP Geneva in the World Alliance of Cities against Poverty project.
Camyla holds a MA in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva and a BA in International Relations from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.

Aida manages the Fellowship Programme, supports the team with corporate communication, programme administration and coordinates fundraising activities.
She has worked in the capacity of a Press & Public Relations Officer and a Project Specialist for IOM, USAID, United Nations and the European Union.
Aida holds an MSc in European Integration (University of Graz, Austria), Graduate in International Relations (University of Oslo, Norway) and a BSc degree in Journalism (Prishtina, Kosovo).

Michal heads the Knowledge Team of the Facility.
His work for more than ten years has focused on understanding financial behaviours and improving risk-management options for low-income households. His background includes work with PlaNet Finance in West Africa and with Microfinance Centre (MFC) in Eastern Europe. His main areas of expertise include financial education, social performance, microinsurance, impact assessment, market research, marketing and product development.
Michal holds a PhD in Economics from University of Warsaw and a Master’s degree from Sciences Po (Paris) in Economic Demography.

Alice supports the communication, knowledge management and research functions of the Facility.
She has worked in insurance and microinsurance with Lloyd's of London and MicroEnsure since 2010. She has worked in international operations, communication and knowledge management.
Alice has a BA in Classics from Cambridge University and a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Caroline Phily

Caroline is the regional focal point for Africa and manages the African innovation grants and capacity building activities.
She is a certified actuary who entered the microinsurance field by joining GRET, a French NGO for which she provided technical assistance to a health community based program, SKY, in Cambodia (product design, monitoring and evaluation and overall project management).
Caroline has a European master's degree in non-profit organization management.

Pranav Prashad

Pranav is the focal point for India and the thematic lead at the Facility for distribution, agriculture and technology / operations.
A business manager with more than two decades of experience, he has initiated and taken to scale agriculture (including weather index based products) and health insurance projects amongst low income households in India, utilizing a diverse set of distribution channels (such as community based organizations, provider networks, cooperative banks, rural retailers farm input providers and rural village based e kiosks) and enabling the projects with technology.
Pranav holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies and a bachelor’s honours degree in Economics, both from Delhi University, India

Miguel Solana

Miguel leads the activities of the Facility in Latin America.
He has extensive experience in a wide set of financial services. He has worked in capital markets at Deutsche Bank in Mexico City and Dresdner Kleinwort in Frankfurt. He also worked for Symbiotics SA in Geneva finding solutions for investors in the microfinance industry. His main areas of expertise are around impact assessment, conditional cash transfers programs, distribution networks for financial services, financial education and marketing.
He holds an MBA from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Koblenz, Germany, a BSc in Actuarial Science from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Development and Cooperation from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH).

Jasmin is in charge of designing and implementing the knowledge management (KM) strategy of the Facility. She takes the lead in the Facility's knowledge sharing events, manages the Facility's community of practice and maintains the Facility's Knowledge Hub.
A Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), Jasmin spent the last twelve years in the field of KM for development, and has acted as KM project manager, trainer, consultant and facilitator for national agencies and international development organizations in Asia and Africa.
She holds an MBA from De La Salle University, a BSc in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines, and a Certificate in KM from KMPro.

Yoseph's responsibilities at ILO focus on ILO's access to insurance for financial inclusion initiatives.
He served for twenty-four years as CEO of the African Insurance Organization (AIO) covering 42 African countries. He initiated the creation of the Association of African Insurance Supervisory Authorities, the African Reinsurance Forum, the African Regional Rating Scheme and the African Centre for Natural Catastrophe Risks. He has done insurance consulting with the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and UNCTAD, and has served as Director of QED Actuaries and Consultants, South Africa.
Yoseph holds a BBA degree from Addis Ababa University and from Fellow Life Management Institute (FLMI), USA.

Lemmy is responsible for the design and coordination of the microinsurance development strategy for Zambia.
He has over fifteen years professional experience in research, training and project management for microinsurance with various international organisations including, ILO’s Microinsurance Innovation Facility, FinMark Trust, Microfinance Opportunities, CGAP and United Nations Capital Development Fund. He has published work on microfinance, microinsurance and small enterprise development with the Enterprise Development and Microfinance Journal, ILO, World Bank’s Consultative Group to the Assist the Poor, USAID, Microfinance Opportunities and the University of Manchester, among others.
Lemmy holds an MA in International Development from University of Manchester in United Kingdom and a BA in Economics and Demography from University of Zambia.
